Horizontal Stripes! Gasp! I know it's a cardinal "rule" for the husky set to not wear horizontal stripes, but as many of you know, I don't think we're too keen on rules around here. I found this top in the clearance section of Old Navy the other day and was thrilled. I admired it when it was full price, but figured I'd go back after the holidays when I had have a gift card and things would be half price. Sure enough, there it was. It was a size smaller than what I usually wear, but it fit and I'm super happy about it. In fact, I've already worn it twice since I got it 6 days ago. I even went online and bought it in another color and I can't wait for to arrive in the post any day now.

Wow, I didn't realize my entire outfit was bought at Old Navy. Looks like I went a bit crazy. The top and leggings are new, but the skirt I've had since college. I also realized this is one of the very few outfits that I didn't where a cardigan, so I guess that's something. I do love this top a lot and highly recommend it. So, if you happen to find one at your local Old Navy or can snag one online, get it, because it's fantastic!

I like the colors on your new top a lot. I didn't buy this particular one, but have gotten several horizontal stripe shirts from ON lately. Love stripes.

You are lookin' gooood! I've got such a thing for bat wing shirts, so I definitely share in your love for it. And of course those stripes add such a punch to an already great shirt. And Penny is looking quite precious, thanks for sharing that picture! :)
