Chubby Little Girls

I found this vintage school photo of a chubby little girl from 1948. As soon as I saw her I just fell in love and knew I had to take her home. It always makes me so sad to find old family photos in antique shops and when I connect with a person in the photo I feel that it's my duty to provide them with a new home. Is that weird?

I always feel sad when I see family photos at thrift stores and such...I can't imagine why someone didn't want those items anymore, or after a loved one passes away. With that said, I have a few that I have purchased because I fell in love with the people in them. So not too weird!

Not weird at all! Seeing family pictures in thrift stores is so sad. I feel the need to rescue handmade items from thrift stores, so I totally understand!

Not weird at all! I have this HUGE picture of a lady in my living room that EVERYONE thinks is my Mother. I have no idea her name or who she is. She just belongs with us now.
