I made my very first skirt today!!! It didn't come out perfect, but I made it and it looks pretty decent! It took me about an hour and I didn't use a pattern or anything, just some cheap thrifted fabric and a bit of elastic. Now that I've done it, I feel a lot more confident about what I want and how I need to go about achieving it. When I've got some money I'm going to pick up some seersucker fabric for the summer. I don't think I'm dress ready yet, but I'm going to make a lot more skirts.

Good color! Mustard seems to be very "in" right now. Which kind of sucks in a way because I look terrible in it. Red hair... ketchup and mustard... har har.
