Grandma's Flowers

Hello my lovelies! Just a quick little OOTD today, nothing fancy. The inspiration for today's outfit is a pair of vintage 1950s earrings given to me by my grandmother. I love how the colors of the earrings are muted, yet still stand out because of the black background and gold trim.

OOTD Details:

Skirt: Inside Out Old Navy
Lace Trimmed Top: ??? I bought it a few years back, but there isn't a tag.
Cardigan: Target
Belt: Torrid
Earrings: My Mimi

Now I'm off to teach this week's art class.

Yay, the bow belt! Those earrings are beautiful. My grandma's kind of gifts were always the free key chains she got from different banks or things she found in the Wal-Mart clearance aisle. Now she sends money and lets us pick something (I think the unspoken agreement is it needs to be something appropriate that she might have given as a gift herself... so like no mini skirts or tattoos or something)

These are some beautiful earrings. I really like accessories to have a history especially if someone wore them to somewhere. I love to know!

Thanks Ladies!

Dee- I'm the same way. Whenever anyone gives me something with a history and I just love it! Especially if it's been passed on to me from a family member.
